Welcome to Her Build Edit

Her Build Edit is a companion for your build or renovation, there to open at every step from the first wish list to handover. Today you can set up your rooms and work through each one's checklist, flag what looks wrong, keep notes and meeting notes, track what you are choosing, keep your builder and trades in one list, make a PDF to share, and learn as you go.

What you can do today

• Set up your rooms. Add the rooms in your build, rename them and remove the ones you do not need. See Add, rename or remove a room.
• Work through each room's checklist. Every room has a checklist for each stage of the build. Tick items off, add your own, and keep a wish list. See Work through a room's checklist.
• Flag what looks wrong. A flag keeps the item on your Flagged page until you resolve it. See Flag something that looks wrong.
• Keep notes. Write a note on any checklist item, and keep meeting notes with your builder and designer. See Write a note on a checklist item and Keep meeting notes.
• Track what you are choosing. Keep the options for each tap, tile or fitting in one place, and mark what you chose and ordered. See Keep track of what you are choosing.
• Keep your contacts together. My team holds your builder's and trades' numbers, with a call and an email button. See Keep your contacts in My team.
• Share a document. Tick what to include and make one PDF to send. See Make a PDF to share.
• Learn as you go. Courses, terminology, dimensions and 100 things are there when you want to know more. See What is in Learn.
• Sign in with a code. There is no password to remember. You enter your email and we send you a 6-digit code. See Sign in with a code.
• Bring someone onto your build. If the build is yours, you can invite your partner, a relative or anyone else who should see it. See Invite someone to your build.
• Join someone else's build. If someone has invited you, the link in their email is your way in. See Join a build from an invitation.
• Keep your details current. Change your name or the email your sign-in codes go to. See Change your name or your email.
• Move between builds. If you are on more than one build, you can switch at any time. See Switch between builds.

Finding your way around

On a computer, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar to open Profile, Help and, if the build is yours, People on this project. On a phone, tap More in the bar at the bottom of the screen to find the same pages.
