Invite someone to your build

Open People on this project, click Invite someone, and enter their first name and email. They get an invitation by email, with a link to join that works for 7 days. You can send the invitation again or cancel it from the same page.

Steps

1. Open People on this project. On a computer, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar and choose it from the menu. On a phone, tap More and find it under Project and account.
2. Click Invite someone.
3. Enter their First name and Email, then click Send invitation.
4. They appear in the list with Invited and how long ago, and stay there until they join.

The invitation is for that email only. If they use a different email, cancel the invitation and invite the one they use.

Send an invitation again

Click Send again on their row. They get a new email with a new link that works for another 7 days. This also works for an invitation that shows Invitation ran out.

If you invite an email that already has an invitation waiting, the dialog offers Send it again instead of sending a second one.

Cancel an invitation

1. Click Cancel invitation on their row. For an invitation that ran out, the link reads Remove and their first name.
2. The invitation leaves the list straight away and the link in their email stops working.
3. To take it back, click Undo in the message at the bottom of the screen. It stays for about 10 seconds.

Troubleshooting

• Sam is already on this project, with their name in place of Sam. That email belongs to someone who has already joined. There is nothing more to do. If you typed your own email, it reads You're already on this project.
• They cannot find the email. Ask them to check their junk folder, then click Send again.
• They opened the link and it says This invitation has closed. See "This invitation has closed".
