Add, rename or remove a room

Rooms are the spine of your build: every room gets its own checklist, and each one is listed by name in the sidebar. Add a room when the work grows, rename it when the plan changes, and remove it if it is no longer part of the build.

Add a room

1. Click Add a room in the sidebar, under your rooms. On a phone, tap Rooms in the bar at the bottom of the screen, then Add a room.
2. Choose what kind of room it is, such as a kitchen or a bathroom. Choose Other if none of them fits.
3. Check the Name. It starts as the kind of room, so change it to something you will recognize, such as Ensuite.
4. Click Add room.

The new room appears in the sidebar with a checklist of its own.

Rename a room

Open the room and click Rename at the top of the page. Change the Name and click Save name. You can also rename it from the list of rooms, below: click Rename on its row, change the name, then click Save.

Remove a room

Rooms are removed from the list of rooms. To open it, click your build's name at the top of the sidebar, then Project details, then Change beside Rooms. On a phone, tap More, then your build's name, then Project details.

Click Remove on the room's row. It leaves the list straight away. To take it back, click Undo in the message at the bottom of the screen. It stays for about 10 seconds.

After that, adding the room again brings back what was in it. Your ticks, notes and flags are not lost.

Troubleshooting

• I cannot find Remove. It is on the list of rooms, not on the room itself. Click your build's name at the top of the sidebar, then Project details, then Change beside Rooms. On a phone, tap More, then your build's name, then Project details.
• Add room is gray. Choose a kind of room first. The button stays off until you do.
