Work through a room's checklist

Open a room and you see every stage of the build, one under the other. Open a stage to see what to check, ask and decide in that room at that point, and mark each item done as you go.

Steps

1. Click a room in the sidebar. On a phone, tap Rooms, then the room.
2. Click a stage's name to open it. A small line beside the name shows how many items are done, such as 3 / 8.
3. Click the tick beside an item to mark it done. Click it again to mark it not done.
4. Done items move under a Done heading with a count, at the foot of the stage.

Each room remembers the stage you last had open, so you land where you left off. Nothing moves a room on for you: the stages are there to look ahead through, not to unlock.

Items come in four kinds, shown by the small tag above the title: Check, Question, Decision and plain items with no tag. Open an item to read why it matters.

Dream and plan

The first stage, Dream and plan, is your wish list for the room. Tick what you want, and the count reads chosen instead of done. Click Add your own, type what you want, then click Add to my list.

Add your own item

In any other stage, click Add your own at the foot of the stage. Write What to do, choose What kind it is and save. Items you add are tagged Yours. Click Edit to change one or Remove item to take it away, and click Undo in the message at the bottom if that was a mistake.

Troubleshooting

• A tick did not save. A red bar at the bottom reads That didn't save. Check your signal and try again. Click Try again. The item stays marked on your screen until it saves.
• An item says it is no longer in the standard checklist. The standard list has moved on, but the item stays on yours until you remove it.
