Change your name or your email

Both are on your Profile page. Your name changes as soon as you save it. Your email changes once you enter a code we send to the new address, and until then it stays as it was.

To open it on a computer, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Profile. On a phone, tap More and find Profile under Project and account.

Change your name

1. Under Your name, edit First name and Last name.
2. Click Save changes. You see Name saved.

Change your email

1. Under Email, click Change email.
2. Enter the New email and click Send code.
3. Open the email we send to the new address and type its 6-digit code into the boxes. Your email changes as soon as the sixth digit goes in, and you see Email changed. You can also click Change email.

From then on your sign-in codes go to the new email. We also send a note to the old one to say it was changed.

To stop partway, click Cancel. Your email stays as it was.

Troubleshooting

• That email is already on another account. Someone already signs in with that email, and it may be you. Sign out and sign in with it to check.
• That is already your email. The new email is the same as your current one.
• The code does not arrive. Check your junk folder, then click Send a new code. Only the newest code works.
• That code has run out. Send a new one. A code works for 10 minutes. Click Send a new code.
